Generative AI is opening up new possibilities for exploring and visualising ideas throughout the creative process. This hands-on workshop will show how these tools can be integrated into the work of architects and interior designers, using familiar project materials such as sketches, renders, plans and images as a starting point.

Through real-world examples, participants will explore how AI can be used to develop concepts, materials, atmospheres and design variations in a faster, more flexible way. The session will cover which tools to use, how to integrate them into a professional workflow and, most importantly, how to maintain control over the final outcome.

The aim is not to hand over the design process to AI, but to use it as a tool for iteration, visualising alternatives and developing proposals more efficiently, while keeping the designer’s judgement and creative intent firmly at the centre.

The session will combine a brief introduction with practical demonstrations and a hands-on exercise, enabling participants to apply these processes to their own architecture and interior design projects.
