After presenting the Concept Room “Genius Loci Concept Restaurant”, we unveil another of interihotel MAD24's outstanding conceptual spaces: a lobby designed by Zooco in collaboration with VP Hotels. At interihotel, we visited the “Harmony Seeker Concept Lobby” to interview both Sixto Martin, co-founder and architect at Zooco, and Javier Pérez, General Manager at VP Hotels & Gingko Restaurants.

Martín told us about the concept behind the design of the space: to create an environment with defined shapes but blurred boundaries. This idea stems from the use of geometry as a tool for creating spaces, and was conceived in response to the requirements outlined by VP Hotels for the design of a lobby: biophilic and natural design, flexibility and versatility of spaces, customer well-being, user experience, and visual impact. This is achieved through a formal and geometric design that generates a serene space centered around a focus of nature and light; a world full of nuances and possibilities for use. Through an optical illusion created by an invisible wall, the space and user experience are doubled, and the project's generative geometry is completed. In this way, a space is proposed that is very defined formally but very diffuse in its interior boundaries.

For his part, Javier Pérez commented on the different traveler profiles that inspired the Concept Room, including the luxury hunter, an international profile eager for luxury and exclusive experiences, and the business traveler, who travels for work reasons such as meetings, conferences, or corporate events.

Sixto Martín also mentioned the different products provided by the brands exhibiting at interihotel, including the following AMBIT associates: Ecler, Estiluz, Fama Solutions, Finsa, Gancedo, Novocuadro, Pepe&Alonso, Santa&Cole, Secrisa, Simon, and Soffitti Pelli by Mariano Farrugia.
