Cristina is the Founder and Managing Director of DANYÉ. She holds a Law degree from the University of Navarra and an International MBA jointly delivered by the Universities of Deusto (Bilbao), Audencia (Nantes), and the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow). In 2006, she founded DANYÉ with the vision of bringing the exceptional craftsmanship of artisan communities in remote areas of developing countries to the international interior design market, while creating sustainable economic opportunities for those communities. Her passion for interior design, travel, discovering different cultures, and her social commitment inspired her to create DANYÉ and continues to shape the company's values and direction. As Managing Director, she leads the company's strategic decisions, overseeing relationships with artisan communities and key clients, as well as defining its marketing and communication strategy. She is a member of AMEDNA (Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Executives of Navarra), a member of the Navarra Chamber of Commerce, and holds the Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification, recognizing DANYÉ as a women-owned business.
DANYÉ specializes in handmade interior design products for the Hospitality and Retailing market, distributing its products to more than 25 countries. Its collections include Wall Décor, Lighting, Tableware, Carpets, Curtains, Baskets, and Small Furniture. Partnering with over 2,500 artisans in Africa, they utilize natural materials and traditional techniques to create a unique universe of natural textures and organic shapes. Based in Spain, DANYÉ has been serving the decoration market since 2006. Its main core competences are designing and crafting unique, handmade decorative items, Providing eco-friendly, sustainable home decor solutions, and Custom product development tailored to client needs.
