Emili Manrique is an architect, technical architect, interior designer, and product designer with more than twenty years of experience in architecture, design, and interior design. As a founding partner and Co-Director of Alfaro-Manrique Atelier, he leads the development of architecture and interior design projects, with a particular focus on the hospitality sector. He specializes in the management and implementation of design-related resources. Alongside his professional practice, he is a lecturer at Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) and a doctoral researcher in architecture and design applied to tourism, conducting his research within the DOCA research group at the Madrid School of Architecture. His research is directly reflected in his professional practice, where he develops hospitality environments that reinterpret the needs of contemporary users and the evolving nature of international hospitality through design.
Alfaro-Manrique Atelier is an international consultancy, architecture and interior design practice specialising in hospitality, living and experience-driven environments. Its work is rooted in the creation of concepts capable of transforming the identity of a place into memorable experiences for people and valuable assets for operators. Through a methodology that combines research, strategy, design and delivery, the studio develops projects where architecture, interiors, product design and storytelling work as one.
