Natalia Olszewska is a physician, neuroscientist and co-founder and Chief Science Officer of IMPRONTA, a studio exploring how the built environment shapes human health and experience. She works across research, education and architectural advisory, translating knowledge about the brain, body and behaviour into design strategy. Natalia has contributed to workplace, residential and educational projects, collaborating with organisations including Google R&D for the Built Environment, EDGE, Landsec, SKANSKA and ARUP. She lectures internationally and writes about architecture as a biological and health intervention, particularly sensory experience, stress regulation, restoration and neuroinclusion. Natalia earned her medical degree at Jagiellonian University, with part of her training at Tor Vergata University of Rome. She holds a Dual Master’s degree in Brain and Mind Sciences from University College London and Sorbonne University and completed postgraduate training in Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design at IUAV University of Venice, where she teaches.

IMPRONTA is an international research and strategy studio exploring how the built environment shapes health, behaviour and experience. Founded by physician and neuroscientist Natalia Olszewska and real-estate professional Ezio Lilli, the studio brings human sciences into architecture and design through research, advisory work and collaboration with project teams. IMPRONTA works across workplace, residential, educational and urban settings, helping clients understand how spatial choices can influence comfort, inclusion, performance and wellbeing. The studio contributed research and design guidance to the restorative corridor at the ARUP Warsaw office, designed by Workplace, which was named Small Office of the Year at the 2023 FRAME Awards. Today, IMPRONTA is expanding its work through collaborations, lectures and methods that translate scientific knowledge into design practice. Based in Kraków and working internationally, the studio combines insight with architectural understanding to support environments that are not only functional and visually compelling, but more responsive to human needs.
