This workshop explores floral design as a tool for spatial intervention, placing flowers in dialogue with architecture, materiality and our perception of the surrounding environment. Beyond their ornamental role, botanical materials are approached as elements capable of transforming space and creating new narratives.
Through a hands-on experience, participants will work with preserved flowers and explore their potential in relation to current trends in design, architecture and temporary installations.
The session will begin with an introduction to the materials and techniques used, as well as the working methodology, followed by a live demonstration that will serve as a reference for the practical exercise.
Each participant will then create a floral intervention using preserved flowers on a pre-designed structure, exploring the relationship between material, form and space from a minimalist and carefully controlled perspective.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created their own piece, reflecting a unique interpretation of the relationship between floral design and architecture.
