Javier Peña Ibáñez is an architect, curator and educator. He is the founder and director of Concéntrico, a project exploring new relationships between architecture, design and public space. He is also Artistic Director of TAC!, an initiative promoted by Spain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda and the Arquia Foundation, with editions held in cities including Granada, Valencia, San Sebastián and Vigo, and curator of the Public Design Commissions programme at the 2026 Design Doha Biennial.

He is co-editor of Concéntrico: Urban Innovation Laboratory, published by Park Books. His work focuses on architecture and cultural innovation, with particular emphasis on temporary design as a tool for transforming collective space.
